On Saturday, 21 May 2016, at night at 3:20, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 20.50), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Citroen C5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
