On Friday, 27 May 2016, at night at 3:40, in Kauno district municipality, on the Aukštutiniai Kaniūkai–Babtai–Labūnava–Kėdainiai regional road (kilometre 9), a Nissan Micra hit an obstacle. One person was injured — the 55-year-old driver of the Nissan (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Nissan, who failed to choose a safe speed.
