On Tuesday, 31 May 2016, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Šakių district municipality, Kidulių village, on the Pilviškiai–Šakiai–Jurbarkas national road (kilometre 54.40), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Toyota (32 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
