On Sunday, 5 June 2016, in the evening at 18:30, in Trakų district municipality, Strėvos village, an Alfa Romeo 156 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Alfa Romeo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.90‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
