On Sunday, 19 June 2016, at night at 2:20, in Kaunas, on 9-ojo Forto street, at the junction with Maironiškių street, a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
