On Wednesday, 22 June 2016, in the evening at around 21:00, in Plungės district municipality, on Mendeno street, at the junction with Kalniškių street, an Aprilia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
