On Friday, 24 June 2016, in the evening at 20:40, in Šakių district municipality, Sirvydų village, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
