On Wednesday, 13 July 2016, in the evening at 19:02, in Šiauliai, on Pramonės street, at the junction with Metalistų street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 323 F and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Mazda, who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed.
