On Thursday, 28 July 2016, in the morning at 8:30, in Kauno city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 100), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene.
