On Saturday, 30 July 2016, in the evening at 22:44, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 43.96), a Volkswagen Golf rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 74-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk.
