On Saturday, 6 August 2016, in the evening at 20:25, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 87.15), a BMW 320D rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.79‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
