On Sunday, 7 August 2016, in the evening at around 20:00, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 98.12), a Citroen C4 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Citroen (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
