On Monday, 15 August 2016, in the evening at around 17:00, in Klaipėda, on Naujakiemio street near No. 25, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Sintra, a Peugeot 307 and a Ford Fiesta. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Opel (23 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. All drivers were sober. The 76-year-old driver of the Ford had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
