On Thursday, 18 August 2016, in the afternoon at 14:36, in Kretingos district municipality, Vydmantų village, on Žibalės street near No. 17A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Land Rover Freelander and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Land Rover (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations.
