On Sunday, 21 August 2016, in the afternoon at 16:10, in Ukmergės district municipality, Jakutiškių village, on Jakutiškių street, a Yamaha 10F (SR 125) hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 14-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Yamaha, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
