On Friday, 26 August 2016, in the morning at 9:49, in Kelmės district municipality, Mickių village, a Volkswagen Jetta ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
