On Saturday, 10 September 2016, in the evening at 21:17, in Kauno district municipality, Karmėlavos town, on Oro Uosto street near No. 4, a Bombardier CAN-AM hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Bombardier (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.75‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
