On Monday, 12 September 2016, in the morning at 10:40, in Šilalės district municipality, Pagrybio village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 216.71), a Nissan Micra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Nissan (14 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
