On Saturday, 8 October 2016, in the morning at 9:42, in Panevėžio district municipality, Šilagalio village, at a yard or parking-lot exit, an Iveco AS440S42 registered in Latvia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Iveco (25 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
