On Sunday, 30 October 2016, in the afternoon at 13:10, in Utenos district municipality, on the Utena–Sudeikiai–Alaušas–Dusetos regional road (kilometre 3.20), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 406, an Audi 80 and an Audi 80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Peugeot (4 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
