On Monday, 31 October 2016, in the morning at 10:52, in Švenčionių district municipality, on Mokyklos street near No. 3, at the junction with Turgaus street, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision while turning right occurred. The accident involved a BMW 320. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
