On Monday, 31 October 2016, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai main road (kilometre 42.21), a head-on collision occurred. Two people were injured — the 62-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (treated as an outpatient) and a 60-year-old passenger of the Mercedes-Benz (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Skoda (14 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober.
