On Thursday, 24 November 2016, in the afternoon at 14:53, in Šiauliai, on Pramonės street near No. 6, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 730 and a Toyota Corolla Verso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
