On Sunday, 27 November 2016, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on V. Krėvės pr. near No. 91, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford Mondeo and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Ford (28 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.87‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
