On Tuesday, 29 November 2016, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Elektrėnų street, at the junction with Technikumo street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra-G-Caravan and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Opel Astra-G-Caravan (15 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
