On Monday, 5 December 2016, in the afternoon at 16:25, in Panevėžys, on Marijonų street near No. 50, a Neoplan N 4014 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. Two people were injured — a 15-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized) and a 62-year-old passenger of the Neoplan (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by a 15-year-old pedestrian, who was crossing the carriageway where prohibited. The driver was sober.
