On Thursday, 29 December 2016, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kaunas, on Elektrėnų street, at the junction with Technikos street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Ford Galaxy and a BMW 330D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Ford (28 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
