On Wednesday, 4 January 2017, at night at 23:24, in Plungės district municipality, on A. Jucio street near No. 24, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Mercedes-Benz 250. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He refused a sobriety test. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, there was a blizzard, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
