On Friday, 13 January 2017, in the evening at 17:45, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 143.25), a MAN TGX ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the MAN (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
