On Monday, 23 January 2017, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Vilnius, on Kelpių street near No. 7B, a BMW X3 XDRIVE30D registered in Italy hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (3 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
