On Thursday, 26 January 2017, in the morning at around 8:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, Polekėlės village, on Senolių street near No. 25, a Lancia Kappa hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Lancia, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.62‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
