On Friday, 27 January 2017, in the evening at 19:05, in Šiauliai, on Vytauto street, at the junction with S. Daukanto street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (1.90‰ blood alcohol).
