On Sunday, 29 January 2017, in the afternoon at 16:03, in Šiauliai, on Pramonės street, at the junction with Bačiūnų street, a Renault Laguna ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Renault, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober.
