On Monday, 6 February 2017, in the evening at 20:46, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Vilnius–Lyda main road (kilometre 15.90), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and a Seat Alhambra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (3.42‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
