On Friday, 10 February 2017, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 406B, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf, a Volkswagen Golf and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Golf, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. All drivers were sober.
