On Saturday, 11 February 2017, in the evening at 20:51, in Telšių district municipality, on Palangos street near No. 96, at the junction with Taikos street, a collision occurred. The collision involved an Alfa Romeo 146 and a BMW X5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Alfa Romeo, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (0.85‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
