On Tuesday, 14 February 2017, in the morning at 8:03, in Alytaus district municipality, on the Seirijai–Balkasodis–Tolkūnai regional road (kilometre 19), a Mazda 323 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Mazda (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and fled the scene.
