On Tuesday, 14 February 2017, at night at around 23:00, in Kaunas, on V. Krėvės pr. near No. 35, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 Avant and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Audi A6 Avant (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.01‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
