On Wednesday, 15 February 2017, in the afternoon at 14:15, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr. near No. 80, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Hyundai Santa FE and a Renault Master. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Hyundai (32 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
