On Wednesday, 15 February 2017, in the evening at 19:45, in Kėdainių district municipality, Aristavos village, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 53.60), a collision occurred. The collision involved an Opel Insignia, a Soloservis SOLOS01 and a Mercedes-Benz Actros Mpii 2541. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Opel (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, there was fog, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
