On Friday, 17 February 2017, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street near No. 27, an Audi 80 Avant hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 65-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Audi (26 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
