On Saturday, 18 February 2017, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street, at the junction with Kovo 11-osios street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo 850, a Chrysler Pacifica and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Volvo (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.13‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
