On Saturday, 11 March 2017, in the morning at 6:25, in Šakių district municipality, Plokščių village, on Nemuno street near No. 38A, a Honda Accord ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Honda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.23‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
