On Saturday, 1 April 2017, in the evening at 18:20, in Kaunas, on Raudondvario pl., at the junction with Jovarų street, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Space Star and a bicycle. One person was injured — a 28-year-old cyclist (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
