On Tuesday, 11 April 2017, at night at 23:30, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 36.80), a BMW X5 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (6 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
