On Saturday, 15 April 2017, in the morning at around 8:00, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 96), a Mazda 626 registered in Estonia rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Mazda (10 years of driving experience), who was driving fatigued and fell asleep at the wheel. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
