On Saturday, 15 April 2017, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Kalvarijos municipality, Kazlavo village, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Scania PM registered in Estonia, a Volvo FH 42T, a Krone SDP27 registered in Estonia and a Scania R420LA registered in Estonia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Scania PM (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.78‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 30 km/h.
