On Friday, 21 April 2017, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Tunelio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Fiat Ducato. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 73-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
