On Wednesday, 26 April 2017, in the afternoon at 12:50, in Klaipėda, on Pilies street near No. 6, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a Toyota. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Opel (3 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
