On Tuesday, 25 April 2017, in the evening at around 20:00, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Pamūrinės village, on the Vilnius–Lyda main road (kilometre 48), a Renault Midlum 240.18 registered in Belarus hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Renault (19 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.83‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
